"A best practice is a method or technique that has been generally accepted as superior to alternatives because it tends to produce superior results anytime, anywhere and for any reason. Best practices are used to achieve quality of product, service and more specifically process and is used as an alternative to mandatory standards and practices. We should be continuously striving to search for and achieve a best practice solution when it comes to the safe, efficient and effective transportation of our children."

The Use of White Boards
The use of dry erase white boards and markers while in transit, has been a godsend, especially for the younger, "energetic" students. It took a couple of tries and some suggestions on how to use them, and before we knew it, we created a standard for the entire school season. It all started with one 18"x18" white board, which was used for art work or visualizing our math challenges. After this, the board(s) were quickly in high demand. An additional 5 - 12" white boards (with pens) were purchased and we had a rolling art studio in the making. Now, any and all music requests can only come on a white board.
